NO COLLEGE DEGREE AND SUCCESSFUL

​How can this be!? Trust me when I say that I could hardly believe it myself. I was always told that the only way to become successful was to earn a college degree in something you wanted to do your whole life. The problem was that NOTHING excited me so much to want to work at it until I turned 65. 

Maybe I should become an RN? Nope, I don’t care to lift people all day and change butts. Don’t get me wrong, I have some mad respect for the people who do! My mother being one of those people. It just was never something I wanted to do.

Maybe I should go to school to be a doctor? Nope…blood freaks me out and needles are not my style unless I’m about to get a tattoo. (Doctors will laugh at this statement)

I know I know! Maybe I should be an artist! That’s not too difficult and I can do it from home! Only…I can hardly put together a cute combination of clothing together to even look presentable in a grocery store so how am I going to create anything that people want to hang on their walls. Heck, even their fridge for that matter?

Maybe a lawyer!? I heard they make great money! NOPE! There is no way in heck that I am going to go to college for 7+ years! The debt for one would be horrible and honestly, would I REALLY learn anything or would I drink my college years away?

I never went to college because I couldn’t justify going to school for even just 2 years to study something that I probably wouldn’t enjoy doing my whole life. Trust me when I say that I started at the bottom. Some would say I was considered the scum of the earth 6 years ago and we will get to that another day. So how is it that someone like me would become successful in life?

There are a few key factors to my success that I am going to share with you.

It took some MAJOR self-development to get myself out of the funk I was in. I was not confident in myself and I felt like no one liked me. (This was partially true as I seemed to be the talk of my hometown for quite some time)

I started watching a lot of inspirational videos even started reading books! (This was a HUGE change for me! Reading was normally not my forte until I found what books I loved to read!)

Getting out of my own head was another task that I am still working on to this day. I just have to keep reminding myself that Gods plans are bigger than I could ever imagine.

Probably the biggest factor in my success was saying yes to something I absolutely, 100% did not understand. Network Marketing. THAT is where it all started for me.

Why did I fall in love with Network Marketing? I fell in love this business model because;You don’t need to have a college degree

You don’t have to take out a huge loan to become your own boss

You can work from home on your own time (Every mommas dream)

There is no overhead

You have the Freedom to live your life on your own terms

You will pay off debt way faster

You had a crappy past? Good for you because it’s not a make or break in this business.

People tend to retire WAY earlier than the age of 65.

No one to tell you what to do because you are your own boss.

Your own schedule.

Tons of tax write offs.

Spend more time with your kids.

Travel whenever and wherever you want to.

The friendships you make with like-minded people.

The fun you get to have working your job that doesn’t feel like a job.

No 9-5 hours!

Paycations! You know, the vacations you go on where you get paid to go on them!

These are a few things that I fell in love with about this business model. I am successful with Network Marketing WITHOUT a college degree not because I’m a genius, but because I said “Yes” to an opportunity that most people don’t understand. Another key factor in becoming successful with ANY network marketing company is by taking quitting off the table completely! You won’t be able to start ANY network marketing company today and be rich in a month. Is it possible? Yes, but your expectations are very high.

I chose to give Network Marketing a try not because it was my dream job because honestly I knew NOTHING about it when I first joined. I chose it because I knew that working 40 hours a week for 40 years only to earn 40% of my income back when I retired…was not something that sounded fun to me. I didn’t want to go through life living paycheck to paycheck because that’s what the world told me was right thing to do.

NOPE! I may not have known what I wanted to go to college for but I did know that I didn’t want to live a life of struggle. Did you know that a recent study shows that 70% of the world is living paycheck to paycheck!? Are you part of that 70%? I was!

On average with ANY network marketing company it will take you 5 years to become rich as long as you work for it. 5 years may seem like a lot for you…but in my mind, it’s a LOT less time than the 40+ years you will be working your job in the corporate America world to just stay broke.

I never went to college and I never will. I am successful because I am not a quitter. I am successful because I said “yes” to something that so many people have laughed at me for. I am successful because I know that Gods plans for me are greater than any dreams I could ever dream. I am successful because I am consistent. Most importantly, I am successful because I understand that I will never know everything and working on myself every day is a huge key to becoming successful!
