YOUR VOTE WON'T COUNT!

How many times have you heard someone say this? "My vote won't matter anyways so what's the point in me taking time out of my day to vote?"

For 6 years my vote didn't matter either and the reason why is simply because I didn't vote! If you don't go out and vote simply because your thinking that your vote won't matter then you're completely 100% correct. It wont matter! It wont matter what you think, it wont matter what you feel, none of it will matter because YOU didn't take that 5 minutes out of your busy schedules to voice your thoughts on a piece of paper.

You can say all day how you want things to be in this world. You can talk people's ears off with your opinions and THOSE opinions you are sharing with people will NOT be heard simply because you are one person talking to a few other people in your area.

So how do you change that? You get out and you VOTE!

If someone wins that you don't want to win and you didn't take the time to vote then guess what, your opinions were JUST opinions. In other words you are just talk and no action.

Like I said, for 6 years my vote didn't matter simply because I wasn't registered to vote because, well, I just didn't care. Fast forward to today and for the first time EVER, I took that 5 minutes out of my day to go and voice my thoughts on the ballot. There were so many times that I wanted to post my opinions about this election via social media and I refrained. (There were a few times I couldn't just not share thoughts though)

So the next time you hear someone say that they aren't going to vote because their vote wont count anyways...say "You're right, it wont count because your not voting." That's it! That's all you have to say and they will start to question their decisions. Do yourself a favor today and stop making excuses! If you have thoughts and opinions of any kind don't just voice them on social media. Go out and VOTE!
