Team FAMILY

I realized something that I never really thought about until today. I have a huge team of amazing entrepreneurs with my business and my job as their leader is to LEAD from the front. I teach them how to stay motivated, how to stay inspired, how to not only grow their business but to also grow in themselves.I guide them to remember that amazing things don't happen overnight and that giving up when things seem tough will only leave you in the same spot they were before.

Out of all the things that I do to help my team succeed, I am also doing something else with another team. My team fearless FAMILY!

I am a mommy of 2 wonderful children My daughter who is 6 years old and my son who is 1 and a half years old. As parents our main focus is to raise our children to be polite, intelligent and happy. We tend to not really think about what skills they will need to succeed in our fast changing world as we assume that the educational system will take care of that for us. I use to feel that way too until I realized with the business that I run, I didn't learn many of the tools that I now use everyday in the educational system.

Let me break it down for you so you understand what I mean. In school they teach you reading, writing, mathematics, science, history and how to behave. Yes, you need these skills in life too but what they don't teach you is self development. Self development has become very huge for me when it comes to changing my outlook on life.

What is self development? Its reading books that make you a better person, its understanding that you will never know everything and that you need to work on yourself every single day. Its finding ways that work for you to stay inspired for the future to allow you to continue to dream big. Even after you feel like you have lost sight of the island you have been working so hard to paddle to. Its learning how to trust in yourself and stop listening to what other people think you need to be doing in life to succeed. Its learning how to stay motivated even after failing over and over again.

I realized today that if I want my children to succeed in life right when they get out of high school then I need to be teaching them the key tools that I had to teach myself. I keep thinking about where I would be by now had I worked on developing myself as a person every single day instead of only wondering what I was going to go to college for after I graduated.

The school system doesn't teach these things because they are still stuck in the old process. The process that teaches you children that success comes from good grades, college, more good grades and a good job. When in actuality that is no longer the only way to succeed in life. Today we have the whole world in our hands, LITERALLY! People are coming to realize that corporate america is no longer the only way and that it is actually the only way for the government to control what people do in their lives. People are realizing this because at one point in time they too believed that the government would take care of them until something drastic happened in their lives to change their thought process.

So after realizing this I have decided that not only am I going to be working hard on my business team, but I am also going to be working super hard on growing my family team. Even though my kids are very young, their little minds are growing and absorbing so many new life lessons everyday and I am going to be sure to teach them life lessons that they are going to need to know in order to succeed in life. We have to start them young if we want them to one day have the opportunities that we wish we could have had in life.

I want my children to know how to be leaders.

I want them to understand their worth.

I want them to know that everything that they dream CAN be achieved no matter how big that dream is.

I want them to understand that people may laugh at their dreams because they wont understand how to dream as big as they do.

I want to teach them that a positive outlook on life and the law of attraction goes a lot further than just being book smart and common sense smart.

You may or may not understand how significant this is and you may laugh at me but as my children grow up, you will see that what I am doing for my children will impact their lives tremendously. Whatever they decide to do in life. They will have clarity and know EXACTLY how to achieve their dreams.

Its time to start my family academy of success! Destination: A successful and meaningful life.
